What we collect
When you use the contact form, we collect the name, email address and message you choose to provide. Our infrastructure may also process basic technical information needed to deliver and secure the website, such as an IP address, request time and browser information.
Please do not send passwords, private keys, health information or other sensitive personal information through the form.
Why we use it
We use contact details and messages to answer enquiries, discuss beta participation and take steps towards providing a service where you ask us to. We use limited technical information to operate, troubleshoot and protect the website.
Our lawful bases are our legitimate interests in responding to people who contact us and running a secure business website, and taking steps at your request before entering into a contract. We do not use contact-form submissions for unrelated marketing or automated decision-making.
Who receives it?
Jamie Wiseman reads website enquiries. We use carefully selected infrastructure and email providers, including Amazon Web Services, to transmit, store and deliver them. Those suppliers act under contractual data-protection obligations. We may also disclose information if the law requires it or if necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
Where a supplier processes information outside the UK, we require an applicable legal transfer mechanism and safeguards. Contact us if you would like more information about those safeguards.
How long we keep it
Contact-form submissions are scheduled for deletion from our enquiry system after 12 months. We may retain relevant correspondence separately for as long as reasonably necessary for our business records, contractual discussions, security, or legal claims. Information that is no longer needed for those purposes is deleted or anonymised. Operational logs are normally retained for seven days.
Cookies
This beta website does not currently use analytics, advertising or preference cookies. If that changes, we will update this notice and ask for consent before setting any non-essential cookies.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may ask us for access to your personal information, to correct or erase it, to restrict how it is used, or to provide it in a portable form. You may also object to processing based on legitimate interests.
Your right to object: you can object at any time to our use of your information where we rely on legitimate interests. We will stop unless we have compelling legitimate grounds to continue or need the information for legal claims.
